My husband and I are fortunate to be in comfort zone these days. The work stress is less. It becomes easy to celebrate a weekend. We both are going to have a great vacation time in the months to come. I and my husband have a fairly accommodating budget for our vacation. That is going to be the time of fun and hence, we are looking for the best hotel deals.

I and my husband go to different states. We stay for the night in hotels. I and my husband make a hotel deal per week. This prevents us to mix up with the crowd. From this year, I and my husband want to attend various festivals in surrounding areas.

Many festivals start on Friday. We plan an overnight stay in hotel on Thursday which will keep us away from the customer crowd. After attending the festival, we’ll reach home on Friday night. I and my husband will take rest on Saturday and Sunday and we’ll be back at work on Monday.

If there is no festival in a particular week, we select the area which we have not gone before. We check the best hotel deals in that area. You get a price cut if you book hotel for more than one night. You also get great hotel deals in the casinos of the area. However, I and my wife do not gamble.

There are some great restaurants near casinos. You have beautiful community activities taking place there. The rates of such casino hotels are cheap in mid-week. But they are costly at weekends. Many casinos have golf packages while some have gaming packages as a part and parcel of hotel deal.

Some weeks ago, I and my husband had mid week trip with our neighbors. They are a retired couple. Time is not a problem for them. We visited the river bluff area of the state. The couple had not visited that before. All of us left on Thursday morning.

We reached the destination in 4 hours. We stopped at shops and restaurants on the way and had good food. We reached hotel late in the afternoon. We had good a accommodation and lovely dinner.

The next day we saw the adjacent areas.  The clerk at the hotel gave us tips about some worthy places near the hotel. The service was exceptional because the hotel members had less stress in mid week. In the end me, my wife and my old neighbor couple enjoyed the best hotel deal.
